I am a Brazilian–Australian artist drawn to patterns of earth and humanity. My practice begins with intuition, unfolding through experiment. Born in Brazil and trained in design, I shape clay as emotion, transforming touch, memory, and movement into lasting form.

Botanicals by Goldie

These pieces were created in the quiet of late nights, with the moon keeping me company. What started with one big piece grew into a little family - a sculptural piece, a hanging piece and then another. Bought, fun and textured, they were inspired by my bush walks and all the flora I have encountered over the years.

Large standing piece / incandescent flora /
Small standing vibrant botany /
Hanging piece / untamed botany { all my love, Tony } /

Home by Goldie

These two pieces were made in response to the Home Exhibition at the Lighthouse Arts. These pieces reflect a woodland of my own. May be a more subconscious bushland that has been created over the years from my voyages and encounters with the wilderness.

Nuvens do Sul by Goldie

My hometown in the South of Brazil is underwater. The estate of Rio Grande do Sul has 350 cities affected by torrential rain. Nuvens do Sul is a collection of 2 pieces which have been handbuilt with a highly textural and tactile clay, BRT (Buff Raku Trachyte). These pieces are my representation of the masses in the sky that float around, bringing unique shapes & patterns to my days & nights. My clouds are dark in colour, moody in shape & rough in texture, just like a storm cloud. Nuvens do Sul represent a grieving but rebuilding community, one night at a time.

Land of loving

This piece is about the femininity of a strong woman who is vast in her emotional persona & dense in deep affection.
She is a mother of many creatures.
She carries sad layers of dust.
She has many lines on her face to showcase her narrative.
She has no desire to hide what goes inside.
You can see her & read her as you wish.
She is the land of loving.
